And when travelling with a pet, things get even more complicated, as not all hotels allow pets, or they do, but with many limits. That is why we are going to tell you what we think are the requirements that a hotel must have to be really pet friendly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Pets allowed without weight limit<\/strong><\/span>This seems to us to be the most important one, because in most hotels there is <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>ALWAYS<\/strong><\/span> a weight limit. I understand that if it is a hotel where the rooms are very small, you can't put an 80 kg dog in there because it might not fit, but if you are going to set a limit, make it flexible. That's why we think that a limit of maybe 30-40 kg in small hotels would be fine. Although there will always be someone who disagrees (and we understand that).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Price per night<\/strong><\/span>: another essential feature. There are many hotels that charge very high supplements per night just for bringing your pet. Obviously, we understand that you have to pay a supplement for cleaning, but the reality is that you have to clean your room thoroughly whether you have dogs in the room or not. We are going to show you hotel chains that charge up to \u20ac40 a day extra, which is crazy if you plan to travel for a week or more. So keep this in mind, especially if you don't have as much money as we do \ud83d\ude02<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3. <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><b>Pet policy:<\/b><\/span> This is something we pay a lot of attention to when booking a hotel or not, and it is precisely the hotel's policy regarding animals: whether they can be left alone in the room or not, whether you have to leave a deposit or not, whether they lend you a bed for your pet, etc. We have seen hotels where as a rule you have to leave a deposit of at least \u20ac200. We have stayed a few times in this chain (before Snow) and we are very happy. Without going any further, on our trip to Porto (<a href=\"https:\/\/viajandoconperro.com\/en\/que-ver-en-oporto-con-perro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>things to see in Porto with a dog in 2 days<\/strong><\/a>) we stayed at <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Ibis<\/strong><\/span>. The truth is that they treated us wonderfully and we were very comfortable. We will definitely repeat. You have to keep in mind that it is not a luxury chain, but it has everything you need to be comfortable, both us and our pet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You have to pay a fee, and we love that it's always so affordable, as it's always around <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u20ac10<\/strong><\/span> and <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>20\u202f\u20ac<\/strong><\/span>, in some European countries even less than <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u20ac10<\/strong><\/span>. In our case, in Porto the supplement was <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>15\u202f\u20ac<\/strong><\/span> per night. The truth is that we found the price to be quite affordable, and that was one of the reasons why we chose this hotel.  Best of all, they didn't even charge us the supplement, so with us you will have guaranteed customers.  The requirements for booking are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dogs up to 15kg allowed.<\/li>\n<li>Please inform the hotel of your stay at the time of booking.<\/li>\n<li>The animal must have the compulsory vaccines.<\/li>\n<li>Always keep them on a leash, or if it is a PDD, it will have to carry a muzzle and liability insurance.<\/li>\n<li>They are banned from caf\u00e9s and restaurants, except for assistance dogs.<\/li>\n<li>It is forbidden to leave animals unattended in the room or inside the vehicle.<\/li>\n<li>It is forbidden to leave food in the bowls, to bathe them and to use hotel towels.<\/li>\n<li>It is forbidden for them to sleep on the bed or any furniture.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>They are standard rules in all hotels, everyone knows their dog and knows what they can and can't do. Son hoteles de 4 estrellas, por lo que cabe esperar de ellos es que tengan un lujo mayor que los Ibis. Los requisitos para reservar son:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Only dogs and\/or cats are accepted, the maximum weight allowed is 25 kg.<\/li>\n<li>The pet must not be left unleashed on the premises (obviously) and the animal must be out of the room or under the control of the owners for cleaning.<\/li>\n<li>They will not be allowed access to the restaurant or other areas where drinks are served.<\/li>\n<li>Have documentation at the time of check-in.<\/li>\n<li>The pet may not be left alone in the room except when guests are in the restaurant. All quite normal and acceptable.<\/li>\n<li>The price is <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>\u20ac20 per night<\/strong><\/span> .
