I am so excited to write this guide because New York was definitely the trip of a lifetime. I went with my father, and we spent 11 days there, so we were able to see the city in detail, as well as taking a trip to Washington. New York is even better than it's made out to be in the movies, which is to say, fact is better than fiction. But it's not for everyone, because if you don't like the hustle and bustle and stress of a big city, you're going to be overwhelmed here. It is always under construction, it's chaotic and it has a very peculiar smell, but it's in my top favourite cities, without a doubt. Another thing I love is the amount of shops and how cheap it is to buy clothes. It is true that although I wouldn't live there because, apart from the fact that everything is very expensive, I don't like the American system, but I would go there every year if I could afford it. If we had the money, in the future I would like to add a guide to New York with a dog, but we are aware that it is going to be a very difficult thing to do because of the cost and because we are not sure if New York is a very pet friendly city.
